Easy installation, attractive appearance and extremely low maintenance
Whether for garden paths, pool edging or patios, the four systems Terrace, Terrace Maxi, Terrace+ and Terrace Massive are able to meet all outdoor requirements. As an environ-mentally friendly bio-based material the innovative wood-PVC composite Twinson saves natural resources and offers a real alternative to tropical hardwoods. Thanks to a special clip system the boards can be installed quickly and with the greatest of ease. The self-supporting aluminium substructure makes it possible for terraces to be laid on practi-cally any ground surface. There are also up to eight natural attractive colours to choose from.
Twinson, the patented wood-PVC composite, combines the advantages of a natural product with the durability and low maintenance of high quality PVC. Twinson terraces are extremely colour fast and require no painting, even after many years of use. Twinson is resistant to insects, chlorinated water and salt water, it is highly durable and does not rot. The particularly fine surface structure is non-slip as well as splinter and split-free while simultaneously providing the warm and natural feel of wood. Inoutic/Deceuninck underscore the high strength of these terraces with a guarantee of up to 25 years.
The four available systems differ with the following details: Terrace has two different surface structures and can be used on both sides, it can withstand point loads of 100 kg and has a floor load rating of 1,400 kg/m2. Terrace Maxi basically features the same properties as the Terrace system but boasts a particularly wide board design measuring 210 mm in width. The Terrace+ model has a corrugated surface that awards it a closed look. The tongue and grove design prevents any small objects from falling through. Withstanding a point load of 150 kg and with a floor load rating of 1,800 kg/m2 this terrace has a greater load capacity than the other two systems. A special clip system makes it extremely easy to replace any damaged boards. Terrace+ also features the highest slip resistance class R13. The boards are available in lengths of 4 / 4.5 / 5 and 6 metres. The Terrace Massive system is particularly suitable for pool sides and organic shapes. The solid boards can be sawn accurately just like solid wood. A new rotatable clip is available specially for curves, so that the boards do not have to be laid at right angles to the substructure.
The Inoutic/Deceuninck aluminium substructure is more stable than other models made of wood or PVC and comes in three different versions: for fixation to a concrete base, as self-supporting floating solution for installation on soft ground (gravel, soil) and as a semi-floating installation that is screwed down every 1.2 metres. All three versions feature a very low profile height and differences in the ground level can be easily compensated using the steplessly adjustable post base.
A comprehensive and user-friendly software is provided to assist processors and craftsmen in the drawing up of the terrace plan. The programme creates true-to-scale drawings and tenders for terraces, pool edges and public spaces. It is also possible to determine the amount of material required with an integrated cut optimisation feature.
The wood used for Twinson products is always from sustainable forest farming. All Twinson products are 100 % recyclable and PEFC certified.
