It is environmentally-friendly and has been toxicity checked in accordance with OECD and EU guidelines.
The product is environmentally-friendly, odourless and has a shelf life of over a year.
Stir before use.
Storage: indoors at between 5 and 40 degrees C, keep out of direct sunlight. The container should be kept closed until use and re-sealed in an airtight manner after each use.
1000 litres of concentrate in a stackable plastic barrel. A 20 foot transport container will hold 16/20 of these plastic barrels.
Dust binding and top surface strengthening.
Neighbouring areas must be protected.
During application of the emulsion the ground temperature must be at least 15°C.
Following application, the surface can be cleared for use once it has dried out, or when the emulsion is no longer visible. For immediate use, spray the surface with water to ensure that gravel cannot stick to wheels.
Mix the concentrate with water.
Mixing proportions: 1 part Stabilizer “Dust Binder” concentrate to 3 parts water. Stir constantly while adding water.
The concentrate to water ratio can be increased to 1:4.
For short-term dust binding, for exhibitions for example, a ratio of 1:5 or 1:6 can be used.
Using a conventional water tank with a spray bar, spray over the top surface in 1 – 3 passes.
The mixed product must always be stirred before application.
Clean the spray nozzles as you would normally.
Consumption per m2: 1 – 3 litres in the required dilution:
Consumption depends on penetration, the consistency of sand and gravel, incorporation, mixing the emulsion with sand or gravel, for example using a rigid, rotary or vibrating harrow. On old compacted roads and squares, where the surface structure is not torn open, following the initial application and leaving the emulsion to soak in for approximately 20 minutes, excess emulsion can be removed using a drag brush and a second coat applied by spraying.
Top surfaces are strengthened by rolling and/or mechanical compacting.
Durability of the application:
This depends on stress/load, the consistency of sand or gravel, penetration and the quantity applied. Durability: 3 months to 3 years. Durability also depends on exposure to sunlight, environmental factors and general weather conditions and may differ in certain situations, depending on the level of use.
This process can easily be repeated, with the quantity to be applied being far less than the first time for the same application.
Stabilizer “Dust Binder” uses:
- Self-draining path surfaces
- Self-draining roads
- Sand surfaces
- Horse riding
- All weather pitches/courts
Stabilizer “Dust Binder” can be used on all indoor and outdoor surfaces that are prone to dust. There is no need to water surfaces treated with dust binder.
The product has been tested in accordance with the following guidelines:
OECD Guidelines and European Union (EU) C.2. Acute Toxicity for Daphnia.
