Following the launch of the MIC 42 municipal machine, Kärcher puts a new member in the compact class on the market: Like the model that is already available, the MIC 35 provides properties of the 3.5 t class on a smaller scale. The powerful drive performance as well as the high level of driving comfort ensure flexible, pleasant work. The compact design ensures high manoeuvrability. The MIC 35 also complies with the exhaust emissions standard EU STAGE V, which comes into force in 2019. Day-to-day applications from sweeping to weed removal through to winter service are possible thanks to the tried-and-tested change concept.
As an all-rounder, the new MIC 35 municipal machine combines the advantages of implement carrier and vacuum sweeper. With an engine and drive performanceof 35 HP, it easily moves over a tonne load capacity and thus different implements. The only limits encountered are in the case of alpine applications or very heavy implements with hydraulic output over 40 l/min, wherethe higher models connect. The vehicle width of 1.08 m as well as the inner turning circle of 910 mm make manoeuvring also in city traffic easy and safe.
The MIC 35 as well as the MIC 42 can also be used in inner city environmental zones from 2019. The common rail engine with diesel particulate filter generates emissions values well below the exhaust emissions standard EU STAGE V, which will come into force next year. The low fuel consumption is environmentally friendly and economical at the same time.
The operator can easily manage working days of 8 hours and more thanks to the high level of driving comfort of the MIC 35. The long wheelbase of 1500 mm ensures stable driving performance despite the high manoeuvrability. The large cab impresses with generous working space, USB charging station, innovative ventilation system and double-sided windows. Entry on both sides and the 360° panoramic view makepossible safe, efficient work.
The intuitive operating concept includes, e.g. the control of the brush position via two joysticksso that the brushes can be raised and lowered separately. The ECO button saves time and effort by adopting the last setting of all sweeping parameters as required. The large 800 l waste container makes possible long work intervals.
It is very easy to change implements for the MIC 35. A standard coupling triangle is attached at the front with lifting and lowering device in order to hold typical market implements as well as tractor implements. The well-known quick change concept of Kärcher is used for access via the engine compartment. In this case the implement can be raised and lowered hydraulically. Manual hand spindles are not required. The optional multicoupler even makes redundant the annoying attachment and removal of individual hydraulic couplings.
The fast access to all service components rounds off the machine concept. The panels including fuel tank can be folded out, as well as the fuel cooler and climate condenser.
