With the WRS 200 Kärcher presents its new implement for municipal machines which makes possible high-pressure applications with cold and hot water. For the first time local authorities and service providers can now also easily tackle weeds without chemicals with the all-rounder also on smaller and more flexible implement carriers in the 2.5 t class. Stubborn dirt or chewing gum can also be easily removed. The narrow design with short overhang simplifies manoeuvring. Combined with the appropriate accessories, tried-and-tested Kärcher components such as the 105 kW burner and the high-pressure pump with 200 bar ensure a high level of flexibility and quality.
If the user hits the road with the WRS 200, he can complete various tasks without having to change the implement. In addition to high-pressure cleaning, the removal of weeds with hot water is a key task. Larger areas can be processed with a 1 metre wide front beam. The driver can activate the side nozzles in the cab in order to clear weeds from kerbs or edges. Lances in different sizes are available for manual weed removal. Besides weeds, another unpleasant and annoying scourge in large cities is chewing gum which up to now has been difficult and time-consuming to remove. In combination with a high-pressure trigger gun and the compatible attachment, the WRS 200 removes chewing gum with cold water in a matter of seconds and automatically places it in a collecting tank.
The technology used facilitates the work and saves time. The powerful 105 kW burner heats the water to 98° C in less than two minutes and is thus very quickly ready for use. The high-pressure pump delivers 200 bar pressure so that even solidified, stubborn dirt can be removed with cold or hot water and professional high-pressure cleaning is possible.
Narrow footpaths, crowded streets – these are the stomping grounds in which municipal machines have to generally hold their ground. That's why Kärcher designed the WRS 200 so compact that the rear remains within the mirror contour when turning. For the operator it is much easier and safer to operate and does not cause any damage. As the WRS 200 is attached at the rear of the vehicle, the centre of gravity remains low – this also benefits the driver in terms of safety and driving comfort.
The WRS 200 can be installed quickly via the municipal coupling triangle. Thanks to a hydraulic output of 40 l, the WRS 200 is suitable for all Kärcher municipal vehicles. Maintenance and service work is easy to complete. An automatic decalcifying system is installed in order to protect the pipes.
