Mounted units for large area spraying
Spraying systems for mounting or attachment to vehicles are ideally suited for spraying large(s) areas, e.g. in orchards and vineyards, as well as row cultivation and larger green spaces. Various models are available for front and rear-mounting, exclusively for rear or front-mounting, as well as models for simple attachment to a wide range of vehicles. Spray hoods, including their spray widths, number and configuration, can be adapted to the area of application, e.g. for narrow strip spraying along rows or full-surface coverage of wide paths. Different, mostly variable extension widths are available.
MANKAR-Drive models are split into two series, which differ above all with regard to the type of herbicide metering:
MANKAR® DRIVE-E models
In MANKAR-Drive-E models, metering is carried out via an electric pump and can be switched on or off at the touch of a button. This means that the spraying process can be triggered over specific sections of the path if, for example, the weed problem is patchy and only parts of a surface need to be treated.
Drive-E-models are suitable for front and rear-mounting and are lighter weight than Drive-P models. Standard units are available with operating widths of 50 cm up 3.5 m and with manual width adjustment. Other operating widths, as well as electric or hydraulic width adjustment, are available upon request.
Mankar® DRIVE-P models
In MANKAR-Drive-P models, metering is carried out via a wheel-driven pump. Therefore, it is dependent on the distance travelled (path-dependent) and not on the driving speed. With every turn of the wheel, a defined volume of herbicide is released. In this manner, the output volume can be precisely metered per unit of surface area (litre per ha).
The result: optimal distribution of the active substance over the entire surface being treated.
On difficult ground, such as loamy soil, the wheel's thick tread reduces slipping and ensures exact path-dependent metering even under unfavourable conditions.
A parallelogram ensures that the wheel is in constant contact with the ground and maintains an even distance between the spray hood and the ground.
Optional components are available for mounting the units to special vehicles such as gantry tractors, meaning the units can be used in a wide variety of areas.
