The main products of our company. Single-purpose machines for such customers, who only want to cut long grass, as well as multifunctional machines which can also be used for other types of work thanks to changeable accessories (see “Multifunctional carriers”).

The drum mowers help with long grass cutting, for example for preparing forage or for making hay. They are characterized by their robustness, high reliability, safeness, stability, perfect ergonomics and power not only on flat areas, but also on slopes.

BDR-620DH Dorotha – a machine intended for cutting long grass in gardens up to 15 000 m². Honda GCV 190 four-stroke engine, two travel speeds, 62 cm cutting width, solid wheel axle, independent switching of wheel and cutting drives, safety drum brake of the cutting disc, asymmetrical metal cover of the cutting disc, side screen making a row of the cut grass, aluminium worm gearbox, Optibelt Kevlar V-belt, T-Bar reinforced attachment of the blades, strap holders for fixation during transport, 8” wheels, height adjustment of the handlebars in 6 positions.

BDR-620DBiS Dorotha – version equipped with the B&S 875 iS four-stroke engine with electric starting: comfortable starting with push button (up to 75 starts after one battery charging, the battery charging takes about 30 minutes).

BDR-1200 – the professional double-drum mower with the cutting width of 120 cm is intended for cutting on large meadows and grazing lands over 10 000 m². HONDA GXV 390 professional engine, 5+R mechanical gearbox with differential, simple control with directional brakes, 5 travel speeds from 1,8 to 8 km/h, drum drive using angular gearboxes connected with a shaft, T-Bar reinforced attachment of the blades, laser-cut frame, 10° swinging of the cutting unit to sides, independent switching of wheel and cutting drives, 10” wheels, safety drum brake of the cutting disc, Optibelt Kevlar V-belt, accessories: AV-650 two-wheel seat, front transport wheels.

Mulchers and brush cutters with mulching blade are intended for taking care of irregularly cut areas. The long grass is cut into small pieces inside a specially designed cutting deck, and so it is not necessary to rake the grass off; it remains lying on the stubble and works as green fertilizer. The mulchers of the VARI brand are characterized by their robustness and compact design, they are easy to be controlled.

F-550 line of the brush cutters with mulching blades – these machines help with disposing of long grass, old grass and self-seeding plants. F-700 Hydro mulcher – a professional helper for disposing of long grass, old grass and self-seeding plants in broken and sloping terrain. HONDA GXV 390 professional engine, 70 cm cutting width, TUFF TORQ K-46ED hydrostatic gearbox with continuous changing of travel speeds forwards as well as backwards, automatic differential lock, 18” wheels, exchangeable part holding the blade shaft, service and safety brakes, GATOR mulching blade, drum brake of the blade, central adjustment of the stubble height in 6 positions from the operator’s place, side flap for cleaning the cutting deck, guaranteed slope access ability of 30°, Optibelt Kevlar V-belt, replaces three workers with brushcutters, accessories: AV-650 two-wheel seat.

VARI offers not only mowers for long grass but also lawnmowers with collecting box and lawn tractors – they are intended for intensive cutting of ornamental lawns round houses, weekend houses and cottages. We have several models in our product range: electric lawnmowers, petrol lawnmowers including one model with the InStart electric starting system - you will surely choose from the VARI lawnmowers range. All the lawnmowers with the VARI brand are produced in the EU.

The FM 3310 and FM 3813 pushed electric lawnmowers with powerful Direct Drive electric engines with the power of 1000 W or 1300 W and the cutting width of 31 cm or 37 cm. The cutting height is adjusted separately for each wheel in three positions. The mowers are equipped with plastic grass box with the volume of 28 l or 35 l and with a chassis made of high quality plastic. The working width of 31/37 cm is intended for cutting on areas of up to 500/700 m². The wheels with the diameter of 140 (front) and 170 (rear) mm are equipped with ball bearings.

CSL 464 G – a pushed petrol lawnmower with steel chassis. Working width 46 cm, GGP/Loncin 99 cm³ four-stroke engine with a fuel primer, 60 l plastic grass box, individual adjustment of cutting height (5 positions).

CSL 484 G – a self-propelled petrol lawnmower, steel chassis, working width of 48 cm. GGP/Loncin 140 cm³ four-stroke engine with a fuel primer, 60 l grass box, central adjustment of cutting height (5 positions).

CSL 484 H – a self-propelled 4in1 petrol lawnmower with the working width of 48 cm. Honda GCV 160 four-stroke engine with the ACS automatic choke system, 60 l grass box, central adjustment of cutting height (5 positions).

MP1 504 B / MP 1 554 B – self-propelled 4in1 petrol lawnmowers with the working width of 50 / 55 cm. B&S four-stroke engine with the READY START automatic choke system, 70 l grass box with an indicator, central adjustment of cutting height (5 positions). Premium equipment: EVO gearbox for smooth setting in motion, ergonomic DeLuxe handle, hose connector for easy washing.

MP1 504 BiS – in this case the MP1 504 B petrol lawnmower is equipped with a B&S engine with electric start. You comfortably start with a push button, up to 75 starts after one battery charging, the battery charging takes about 30 minutes. The battery as well as the charger are added to the machine box.

MP1 554 H – the top model in our product range. A self-propelled 4in1 petrol lawnmower with the working width of 55 cm. Powerful Honda GCV 190 four-stroke engine with the ACS automatic choke system, 70 l grass box with an indicator. Premium equipment: central adjustment of the cutting height with an indicator (6 positions), variable gearbox with continuous adjustment of the travel speed, ergonomic DeLuxe handle, hose connector for easy washing.

The VARI RL 84 H and VARI RL 98 H lawn tractors are intended exactly for you. These lawn tractors have a working width of 84 or 98 cm, they are equipped with strong engines, they fill the grass box perfectly thanks to the wide discharge chute and they have an attractive design. The powerful GGP/Loncin 432 cm³ or 452 cm³ engine with electric start (charger added), hydrostatic gearbox, 240 l grass box with tone alerting of the full bag, 15” and 18” wheels, adjustment of the cutting height in 7 positions, electromagnetic clutch of the cutting deck, support wheels of the cutting deck.

It is also possible to buy accessories for both lawn tractors: mulching set, cover for mowing without the grass box, hitch for a trailer, a pulled roller (VARI VT-1000) or a pulled aerator (VARI PT-1000).

The two-wheel minitractors with accessories are the original product which started to write the modern history of VARI in 1969. The heart of the modular system is made of a driving unit with handlebars and an automatic centrifugal clutch. It can drive two basic gearboxes – DSK-316 and DSK-317. The driving unit can be moved from one gearbox to the other one in a very simple way. Thanks to the fact that there are two types of the gearbox available, each customer can get a machine assembled exactly to his requirements. It is possible to dismantle the minitractor into 2 or 3 parts quickly, simply and without any tools; then it takes only a little space during storage or transport.

DSK-317 gearbox (VARI GLOBAL minitractors)

The DSK-317 3-speed gearbox with a reverse is designed for ploughing, where we need a heavy machine with large wheels and good adhesion. The ploughing unit, with a weight of 250 kg, allows ploughing up to a depth of 18 cm. It is possible to connect following accessories to the machine: swing plough, one-way plough, digging share, cultivator, adjustable smoothing harrow, spike-tooth harrow, cultivator with roller, potato hiller, dozer blade and tipping trailer. With a simple exchange of the drive axle for a set of tiller blades we get a rotary tiller with a working width from 60 to 125 cm with a possibility to choose a tiller device based on the soil type (light and medium heavy - right-angled blades, heavy - lance blades).

DSK-316 (small gearbox with PTO)

For mowing and municipal maintenance work we need a small and very lightweight machine, which must fit under the bushes in the garden, must not damage the lawn and it must be easy to handle with it. These requirements are met by the DSK-316 gearbox with a power take-off. It is compact and lightweight and work with it is very comfortable. Quick change of accessories (using a detent pin) allows using this set all year round for municipal work, such as mowing, mulching, sweeping, hay raking and tedding and snow clearing. When you work on large areas, it is possible to connect the AV-650 two-wheel seat with a spring-suspended seat and a brake to make the work easier.

Driving unit (engine + handlebars + flange + 80 mm centrifugal clutch)

Today we are using environment-friendly four-stroke engines: VARI XP-200, HONDA GCV 160 and HONDA GSV 190, all of the in the power category 5-6,5 HP. 80 mm automatic centrifugal clutch, height and side adjustment of the handlebars from the place of the operator, integrated anti vibration attachment of the handlebars, weight about 23 kg only.

Equipment connected directly to driving units

Machines without engine, the VARI driving unit with the 80 mm clutch can be attached to drive them. We offer following devices in this product group: rotary hoe, scarifier/aerator, wood chipper, corn crusher, pressure washer.

No universal machine in the performance class of 4-7 HP can meet so contending requirements of the customers. Thanks to almost 50 years of experience VARI uses the conception of one driving unit and two gearboxes. It enables an effective solution of all of the customer's requirements for work in a field, a garden, a greenhouse or for professionals working in municipal services and cleaning small and medium-sized areas. Many people want to grow their own vegetables, own an orchard or a meadow. The VARI modular system offers a proven solution for everyone.

VARI has been producing multifunctional carriers since 1969, when the T-19 gearbox with accessories (bar cutter, snow thrower and snow blade) appeared. The whole VARI SYSTEM is a multifunctional system with many thought-out accessories till now; it is possible to work with it all year long. The new generation of machines, i.e. MAX and RAPTOR Hydro multifunctional carriers, continue in this long tradition.

The MaX multifunctional carrier is intended for such users, who mostly cut long grass or mulch it and don’t want to leave the machine standing outside the grass season. That’s why we developed more useful accessories. LUCIONA MAX and HURRICANE MAX serve all year long for cutting and cleaning.

BDR-620D Lucina MaX – Lucina Max is in basic version a drum mower, intended mainly for cutting long grass in gardens up to 15000 m². In fact it is the same as BDR-620DH Dorotha: Honda GCV 190 four-stroke engine, two travel speeds, 62 cm cutting width, solid wheel axle, independent switching of wheel and cutting drives, safety drum brake of the cutting disc, asymmetrical metal cover of the cutting disc, side screen making a row of the cut grass, aluminium worm gearbox, Optibelt Kevlar V-belt, T-Bar reinforced attachment of the blades, strap holders for fixation during transport, 8” wheels, height adjustment of the handlebars in 6 positions.

We are also selling the MAX carrier with the VM-580 mulching adapter attached, either with the Honda GSV 190 engine or the B&S 875iS engine with electric starting. This machine’s name is F-580 Hurricane MaX.

The RAPTOR Hydro multifunctional carrier is a completely new category of machines, characterized by a strong engine, a hydrostatic gearbox and other modern elements. Thanks to its attributes, it is possible to use this machine for many purposes in small municipalities, for growers, owners of premises, gardens, farms and orchards. It only take 5 minutes to change the accessories and it is very simple. The accessories range will continue to expand.

The RAPTOR Hydro multifunctional carrier won the 2016 GRAND PRIX TECHAGRO exhibit contest.

RAPTOR Hydro is a multifunctional carrier of accessories; thank to the wide range of accessories it can be used all year long. RAPTOR Hydro was first of all designed to fit in the hands well and provide comfortable usage; the ergonomics and good balancing of the machine were priorities in the course of the development. Powerful B&S 950E four-stroke engine, hydrostatic gearbox, automatic differential lock, NORAM-VARI clutch/brake, 8” wheels, 4,5 l additional petrol tank in the handlebar holder. Thanks to the hydrostatic gearbox with the differential lock it is possible to change the travel speed and direction comfortably and continuously. The drives of wheels and accessories are controlled by one hand, therefore it is possible to change the travel speed while working.

Also available for this machine are the wheel weights (2x 11,5 kg) and snow chains. As a new product for 2019 we are just developing a sweeping brush (100 cm working width). A prototype is already displayed at our stand.

CB-80 sweeping brushes - The machines in the category sweeping brushes are intended to keeping hard surfaces all year round. A sweeping brush with a collector can make the surface clean. It is also possible to use the machine for winter maintenance. The sweeping brushes are perfect for small municipalities, municipal services, owners of company premises, for cemetery maintaining etc. VARI XP-200 or Honda GCV 160 engine, 80 cm working width, compact size, spiral arrangement of the hair, 1 or 2 travel speeds, both gearboxes (for wheel drive as well as brush drive) are aluminium worm gearboxes, 34 cm brush diameter, adjustment of the hair pressure with the front wheel. Accessories: 63 l collecting box, 80 cm snow blade, dust cover.

Rapido Plus wood chipper - Each gardener solves the problem with the great number of branches while pruning the trees. Burning of the garden waste is mostly forbidden nowadays, that´s why the best helpers with garden waste disposal are the wood chippers and shredders; it is possible to get rid of the garden waste using these machines. The RAPIDO Plus wood chipper is very popular, it is driven by the B&S 850 four-stroke engine and newly also by the strong B&S 950 engine (Rapido Power Plus). RAPIDO is a wood chipper which copes with branches with a diameter of up to 5 cm (Rapido Power Plus 6 cm). It is optimal to crush fresh branches. The drier and tougher the branches are, the more difficult it is to cope with the crushed material for such machines like shredders and chippers in general. There is a patented system of crushing in the crushing head of the Rapido wood chipper. It is a slow-running double-threaded spiral. Its big advantages are self-feeding of the crushed material into the crushing head, high resistance and long lifetime and ten times higher working speed in comparison with standard cylindrical wood chippers.

Brushcutters – The brushcutters are widely used helpers for grass cutting on hardly accessible places. Larger areas are cut with lawnmowers or lawn tractors, at the places close to fences, walls, for steep slopes or banks are used the brushcutters. We offer two machines with two-stroke engines: VARI 432HB (43 cm³, 1,7 HP) and VARI 522HB (52 cm³, 1,9 HP).

KF single-purpose rotary tillers – The small single-purpose rotary tiller are perfect helpers for soil loosening before seeding or planting on flowerbeds or in glasshouses. The tillers are intended for all gardeners and vegetable planters. All models are equipped with lanced blades with the working width of 60 cm, conical clutch and worm gears (no belts). KF-140: VARI XP-140 engine with the power of 3,5 HP. KF-200: VARI XP-200 engine with the power of 6 HP. KF-H160: Honda GCV 160 engine with the power of 5,5 HP. Accessories for KF-200 and KF-H160: 8” wheels, one-way plough, reducing gearbox, ploughing girdles.
