How does Keckex Weed Control work?

Our Hot Steam Generator heats water until it hits a temperature of up to 140 degrees, producing a mix of 50% of steam and 50% of liquid water.

The hot steam sterilizes the ground beneath and warms up the surface so that the water does not cool down before it can reach roots in the soil at a continuously high temperature.

The hot steam is piped through a special heat-resistant hose towards individually selected equipment, by means of which disturbing weed is vaporized.

This process triggers a protein shock within the plant and thus destroys the plant’s cell wall. Subsequently, the plant cannot absorb water anymore and as a result withers.

Depending on the specific kind of vegetation and various environmental influences several repetitions of the operations may be necessary.

Our KECKEX System can be used in all weather conditions and is especially suitable for communal service large-scale weed control.

The KECKEX product line includes hand-held equipment as well as mountable units that are compatible with any communal vehicle disposing of front hydraulics, which we are able to adapt as individually required.

The area output of hand-held equipment amounts to approximately 200 sqm/h as compared to about 600 sqm/h and more for mountable units. KECKEX works on all kinds of ground such as asphalt, curbs, roadsides, concrete or gravel without causing any damage and in this way annihilates even persistent forms of grass, neophytes and weeds such as dandelion, sorrel and many more.

For this reason our Keckex product line includes mountable devices in addition to our hand-held equipment for any communal vehicles disposing of front hydraulics, which of course we are able to adapt as individually required. The Keckex Hot Steam System is effective on all sorts of terrain, curbs and roadsides without causing any damage.

Simultaneously, all persistent forms of grass, neophytes and weeds such as dandelion, sorrel and the like are annihilated without impairing the environment.
