The natural, vegetable binder STABILIZER has been used since about 1990 in road construction. Since the mid-nineties we have successfully distributed the product in Switzerland and Europe. Stabilizer produces high-quality, high-performance, water-bonded flooring that offers high strength and durability while maintaining good water permeability and dust retention. Thus, stabilizer surfaces can actually be used as unsealed surfaces. The precise aggregates (0 / 5mm to 0 / 11mm) according to the Stabilizer grading curve are produced in cooperation with regional gravel works and mixing partners, which offer a variety of different color and rock mixtures and thus offer creative freedom for planners and architects. The Stabilizer ECO binder is used to create high-quality and highly functional coverings in the water-bound construction method. These stabilizer surfaces are considered unsealed surfaces and positively support climatic situations in cities and communities. Surfaces with Stabilizer ECO binders have high strength and long durability with high water permeability. In addition, the coverings bind dust. Moisture is bound in the coating and metered to the atmosphere.
With the Stabilizer ECO-Binder, the climatic properties are improved to such an extent that the top layer is classified as CO2-reduced or even CO2-negative. In order to compensate for the CO2 that is generated during production, transport, installation and disposal, a special aggregate is added to the coating, which absorbs CO2 and converts it into biocarbonate.

Partial pavement as an alternative to asphalt and concrete

With StaLok you get a hard top layer, which is still permeable to water and air.
The mineral mixtures are solidified by a co-polymer.

By use, the shear strength and load capacity of the cover layer in the wet and dry state is increased.

Especially in the frost-de-icing salt period, this binder gives you better surface hardness, allowing for a more versatile use of the road surfaces.

The StaLok is possible both as a ready mix with the natural crushed sands and as a subsequent application on existing surfaces. For both applications, the Stabilizer grading curve must be guaranteed for the used natural stone sanding sands as well as the construction according to standard.
