When the days become colder or even in winter, when looking from inside to outside through the windows, you no longer look into the dark, but into your own atmospherically illuminated garden. Garden lighting has become increasingly important in the landscaping sector in recent years. Where the electrician used to be employed, customers now expect garden and landscaping professionals to install the outdoor lighting. Most of our customers are enthusiastic about in-lite® because of its freedom from interference, durability, product quality and its particularly easy installation.

in-lite^® has been designing its products for over 20 years. They know which quality is required especially in outdoor areas by the customers. The in-lite^® products are distributed by 6 fuers Gruen and LICHT design are suitable for all seasons and withstand wind, rain, cold and extreme heat. The user-friendly plug-in system is easy to install and due to its 12 volt low voltage even without an electrician. The high-quality LEDs make the system particularly durable and energy-saving. in-lite^® is also an insect-friendly system as it does not emit any UV radiation. The warm white light of around 3,000 Kelvin hardly attracts insects and the colours of the garden appear particularly true to nature.

Extensive Green Roofs

We from 6 fuers Gruen offer different versions of extensive green roofs. Whether a single or multi-layer system is used, depends on various factors such as the statics, the roof slope and the intended use. Our various systems meet the different requirements:

Our HYDROTEX – The Simple Solution is the easiest way to realise a single-layer green roof build-up.

When things have to be done quickly our NE 20 - The Speedy Solution is the best choice to install an extensive green roof. The large boards of NE 20 can be laid out quickly and are also available as a 25 m² roll with laminated filter fleece, for very fast installation.

Our WE 25/15 - The Pressure-Resistant Solution is used under simple and resilient green roofs with sedum and modest perennials. It provides a pressure-resistant base for flagging on terraces and paths. In addition to the discharge delay effect, the elements have a water storage and drainage function. With infill the WE 25/15 elements can be used as drainage boards under flagging. With appropriate overfill, they can be even used under vehicle accessible areas.

Our LDW 35 – The Light Solution is suitable for lightweight green roofs. It’s mainly used for subsequent application of green roofs. In this case the roof structure or its statics were not originally designed for the load capacity of a green roof.

Intensive Green Roofs

We from 6 fuers Gruen offer various solutions for intensive green roofs. Which solutions is used depends on the greening, the required water storage and the required compressive strength. We have various systems for the different greening requirements:

With our WE 40 - The Water-Storing Solution, a combination of perennials and bushes can be realised for simple intensive green roofs. The WE 40 elements provide a water storage capacity of around 20 litres/m². When filled with pressure-resistant material it’s also suitable as drainage under paths and patios.

For intensive green roofs with trees, shrubs and perennials, our WE 60 - The Versatile Solution is the ideal system. With the large water storage capacity of the WE 60 elements, the different plants are sufficiently supplied with water. The WE 60 UG drainage element is slotted on the bottom side. It makes it easy to combine the green areas with paths, patios, parking areas or emergency access roads.

Challenging intensive green roofs with a great variety of trees, palms, shrubs, perennials and grasses combined with other design elements such as terraces, driveways or footpaths, require a solid base and a large water storage volume. Our DWS 80 – The Intensive Solution is a real all-rounder and was developed for precisely this application.

Our NE 12 – The Car-Accessible Solution is particularly suitable for car-accessible areas on subterranean garages and parking decks, due to its excellent drainage performance and pressure resistance. The system is also used for access roads to neighbouring buildings or emergency access roads.

Inverted roofs are car-accessible with a pressure-resistant substructure. Our WE 25/15 - The Pressure-Resistant Solution is made for this application and when filled, it beats all other drainage boards of comparable height in terms of pressure resistance.

Our NE 10 - The Walkable Solution is excellent in use as drainage under patios and balconies. It’s as well the ideal solution under all kind of walkable areas on green roofs and other pavements that require a drainage underneath.

Retention Roofs

Retention roofs store large amounts of water and ensure that the water drain off with a time delay and at a reduced rate. During heavy rainfalls this ensures, that the public sewage system is relieved.

Our system RE 80 - The Sustainable Solution is the right choice for intensive green roofs with a large water storage to supply the vegetation. Combined with a dam-up element the RE 80 retention elements with their large water reservoirs of up to 74 l/m² are suitable for sustainable precipitation retention. During heavy rainfalls they efficiently relief the sewerage system and offer a long-term water supply for the plants. The high compression strength of the RE 80 makes is also applicable on walkable or car accessible roofs.

Our system RE 120 - The Reliever is used under extensive green roofs and gravel roofs, where large retention volumes are required. In combination with a dam-up element, a large retention volume of up to 100 l/m² is possible. This relieves the public sewerage system during heavy rainfall events significantly.

The right system for retention under traffic roofs is our RE 150 – The Strong Solution. During heavy rainfalls the RE 150 element with its large water storage volume of up to 138 l/m², ensures efficiently water retention. It’s used under green roofs or used pavements, has a high load-bearing capacity, stores water and relieves the public sewerage system.

Special Products

We from 6 fuers Gruen offer an extensive range of special products for green roofers, gardeners and landscapers, civil engineers and roofers. These include a. o.: Weed control, root protection, erosion control, mole barriers, planters, compost cover, winter protection, crop forcing, products for ground stabilisation, dewatering and for terrace and pond construction. Technical fleeces and artificial turf are among the popular products.

Technical fleeces:

We supply our fleeces in rolls and also customized, i.e. cut to size, sewn or punched.

• For green roofers we offer our standard PES/PP fleece in different strengths as protective or separating layers. Our quality PP fleece is used as a filter layer.
• A comprehensive range of fleeces is available to garden and landscape builders, e.g. weed control, mulch fleeces, ground cover fleeces, root protection fleeces, erosion control mats, winter protection fleeces, compost protection fleeces, protective fleeces, separation fleeces, fleeces for pond and swimming pond construction, fleeces for road and path construction and many more.
• For civil engineers, in addition to the usual geotextiles for road and path construction, we also offer root protection fleeces and fleece-coated geogrids.
• For roofers, we offer our standard PES/PP fleece. It ensures the protection of roof sealing membranes underneath gravel or green roofs.

Artificial Turf:

Especially in shady or very dry areas in the garden, natural planting is often difficult or even impossible. Often artificial turf is the only permanent way to green the garden evenly, i.e. without bare patches. Artificial Turf enables a green garden without much maintenance all-season. The artificial turf range of 6 fuers Gruen offers various alternatives for different requirements, whether for a natural look or for special use, e.g. on playgrounds.

Garden Pro, with its long filaments, and Garden Basic, with its slightly shorter, dense and soft filaments, have a very natural look. Thanks to their natural appearance Garden Pro and Garden Basic always convey the impression of a well-maintained and mowed turf. The pleasant soft feel of the surface makes Garden Pro and Garden Basic particularly popular for use as barefoot area around the swimming pool.

Its self-erecting filaments give Garden Perfect a natural look and always give the impression of a well-maintained and just-mown lawn. The long filaments and tight base-filaments ensure a fresh and healthy appearance any time.

 Garden Economy comes very close to the natural garden situation, due to its bicoloured structure and its slightly longer filaments. It’s the economical alternative in our range of artificial turf.

We recommend Play Pro artificial turf for particularly demanding areas such as playgrounds and Event Professional for professional requirements, e.g. for balconies and patios in gastronomy. Garden Color offers a colourful experience indoors and outdoors with its 8 different colour variations.
