ACO DRAIN® Multiline Seal in - A new addition to the growing product range
The requirements being placed on modern drainage systems in terms of leak-tightness are increasing and have been established as standard in the related regulations and norms. The requirements have to be applied from the outset in order to ensure that surface water is safely drained away as part of a controlled rainwater management system.
The ACO DRAIN® Multiline Seal in drainage system collects polluted surface water and transports it for treatment, recycling or further use without losing any through leakage. The Seal in technology comprises watertight, frost-resistant polymer concrete trench bodies and a built-in two-component EPDM seal on the trench joint as standard. This combination guarantees that the trenches remain watertight for more than 72 hours of continuous use and thus much longer than the 30 minutes specified under DIN EN 1433.
In addition to NW 100, nominal widths of 150 and 200 are now available. Galvanised steel and stainless steel edge protectors can also be provided as an option.
The Multiline HD Seal in system is another new innovation, with a variant available with a cast iron edge protector. The Zusatz HD comprises a reinforced trench drain with a 12-mm cast edge, which allows it to be installed directly into areas in which lorries and heavy goods vehicles in load class D 400 pursuant to DIN EN 1433 operate. When used in combination with cast iron grates with longitudinal bars, this also provides new options in the challenging task of designing open spaces. In addition, our extensive range of grates has been expanded to include an improved slotted frame (up to NW 200).
ACO Manhole Cover SAKU B 125 – for a permanently beautiful look

Open spaces and private areas can be designed through paths and driveways. High-quality paving and floor coverings create a harmonious overall impression of the area. Manhole covers made of concrete or with rusty areas can disturb this well-conceived impression.
The new ACO manhole cover SAKU B 125 with lid and frame made of plastic corresponds to 100 per cent of the DIN EN 124. The lid of high-strength, black plastic (polypropylene) weighs only about 9 kg. In combination with the newly developed plastic concrete frame, the total weight of the manhole cover is only 53.0 kg. It is an alternative to constructions made of cast iron and concrete in gardening and landscaping. With a frame height of 125 mm, the cover is ideally suited for optimal connection of surface coverings such as paving or natural stone.
The surface of the plastic concrete frame is as the lid made of plastic (polypropylene). The use of the UV-resistant manhole cover offers a permanently attractive solution with a uniform surface, especially for designed open spaces and in the private sector. In addition, the use of only non-rusting components ensures that there is no rust transmission to the adjacent surface coverings.
ACO rainwater harvesting Rainn4me - Harvest your own rain
Clean water is a very precious resource. Worldwide groundwater consumption is fifteen times larger than its regeneration. The result is a continual decline in groundwater levels. Heavy rain of short duration leads to an excess of water. You can collect and store this rainwater in your garden and consume it as required. Within the domestic setting, these systems can be used to provide water for toilet flushing (30% of typical water usage), washing machines (13% of typical water usage), cleaning, outdoor and garden use (7% of typical water usage). A total of 50 % of typical water usage can be supplied via rainwater harvesting. Therefore, you can save water while also taking care of your budget.
ACO Rain4me flat rainwater tanks are installed underground and can be arranged flexibly in accordance with the size of the garden. Due to the flat form, a significantly smaller excavation compared to a cylindrical cistern is needed. That saves time and cost.
The combination of several rainwater tanks enables an adjustment for every garden size and usage – enlargement is possible, too. The solid material PE-LLD “Made in Germany” is recyclable and has been approved statically.
