Material

The biodegradable Sempergreen Sedum-mix blankets comprise ten to twelve different species of Sedum. The plants grow on a coconut fibre carrier and a special substrate developed by Sempergreen.The blankets boast at least 95% coverage upon delivery. Sempergreen vegetation blankets are produced in accordance with FLL guidelines.

About the vegetation

The sebaceous Sedum plants are adept at storing water in their leaves and are therefore extremely suitable for varying weather conditions.

Installation and maintenance

Sempergreen vegetation blankets are very easy to install. Sedum-mix blankets can be installed on sloping surfaces of up to 25 degrees. Their (minimum) maintenance depends on the build-up of the system (fertilise one to three times per year).

A varied and colourful effect is achieved by adding a variety of flowering herbs to the Sedum plants. Installation and maintenance Sempergreen vegetation blankets are very easy to install. Sedum-herb blankets can be installed on sloping surfaces of up to 10 degrees. Their (minimum) maintenance depends on the build-up of the system.

Vertical gardens or green walls are the perfect means of introducing more green to urban areas. Only a limited amount of space is required to transform an otherwise grey area into a lush SemperGreenwall.

Constructed from Flexipanels

A SemperGreenwall is constructed from Flexipanels and finished with a gutter and a frame. Each SemperGreenwall is prepared with a carefully selected mix of plants in our nursery.
