Fachverband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e. V. is a trade and employers' association.

It represents the interests of companies specialized in gardening, landscaping and sports ground construction in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania vis-à-vis the legislator, the government, the administration as well as economic and social organizations.

In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, numerous qualified member companies of our association are available with their knowledge and skills for tasks in the public green, the urban green and the private sector.

These member companies commit themselves to professional performance in the green area.

To ensure professional performance, the association offers a special training and further education programme for entrepreneurs and employees in its vocational training center. Specialist companies can only distinguish themselves from undeclared workers by good quality work.

How long have we been around?
Fachverband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e. V. was founded on 9th May 1990 in Neubrandenburg.

The association started working with 20 regular member companies and 500 employees. In the same year, we were accepted as a full member of Bundesverband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau e. V. Ordinary members – and only these – are entitled to use the quality ark shown. It is a registered trade- and service mark and awarded by Arbeitsgemeinschaft zur Qualitätsförderung landschaftsgärtnerischer Arbeiten e. V. (Working Committee for the Promotion of Quality in Landscape Gardening. e. V.).
