After joining the grape harvester manufacturing community as a challenger, Pellenc has since quite naturally become the driving force behind the mechanization of wine-growing activities. Thanks to its multifunction invention, today Pellenc has a technological lead of more than 10 years, rewarded by seven Sitevi and Vinitech awards in 1994, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007. Pellenc’s compact and intelligent over the row tractor is compatible with all ranges of Pellenc tools. As harvesting is a major undertaking for the wine grower, Pellenc proposes a solution with unmatched harvesting quality: its harvesting head associated with the Smart, the Sorter and the Selectiv' Process. Research and Development

This result is due to a very effective Research and Development department which knows how to listen to your needs. More than 100 persons work each day to match changing market requirements more closely and thus design and develop relevant and efficient products. In this respect, more than 250 patents have been registered worldwide, thus ensuring the authenticity of Pellenc’s knowhow.

Varied in-house skills

The design office potential is relayed by the in-house availability of all the necessary skills for materializing the projects: prototype, mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, electrical and servo-control engineering, etc. The Pellenc group is proud of its in-house knowhow, thus guaranteeing the quality and follow-up of the distributed products for each of its customers.

An efficient industrial tool

There are six production sites totalling more than 600 employees out of the full work force, wide-spread in order to meet customers’ demands more closely: one in France, two in Spain, one in Slovakia, one in Italia and one in China. These sites benefit from continuous investment: nearly 3 million Euros a year, so that they are equipped with the best tools and can therefore work in the best possible conditions.

The Pellenc group has more than 350 sales outlets in France and as many abroad; this means its commercial network is close to its customers. To ensure customers that work is done on time, the engineering department, whose main qualities are reactivity and a multidisciplinary approach, remains on duty particularly at harvesting time. Moreover, the engineering deparment is very attentive to the training of the technical relays within the dealer sales outlets. The Pellenc group comprises one of the most efficient human teams which has a clear understanding of the problems and undertakings of wine growers, olive growers and arboriculturists.
