Based in Houtvenne, our parent farm covers 190 hectares of field cultivation and 25 hectares for containers, with a further 190 hectares of field cultivation at our French subsidiary in Vicq. Arbor can therefore meet every demand from its professional public, architects, local authorities and urban developers at home and abroad.
A family business, Arbor can now rely on a wealth of experience from 4 generations spanning a hundred years and in 2001, at the start of the new millennium, Arbor will celebrate its 100th Birthday!
History
The Van Dyck family has tree-growing in its blood. For four generations Arbor has been a purely family business, passing down knowledge and experience to become what it is now - a company in which expertise and experience are combined with an emotional attachment only possible in a family-run business.
Exports
Arbor has 40 years experience in exporting plants and trees. And its experience is recognized throughout Europe - today exports represent about 90% of Arbor´s business.
The Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, England, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic ... There are few countries in Europe where the name Arbor is not synonymous with top quality and service. It was therefore decided in 1996 to discontinue private sales in order to give an even better service to our professional customers at home and abroad.
