Located in the beautiful Altmühltal Kelheimer Naturstein GmbH & Co. KG looks back on a long tradition.
There had been quarries in the region for a long time when

in 1915, the first industrial processing plant was constructed by Karl Teich in Essing.
In the years to follow, other quarries were built and
in 1935, new factory buildings were constructed in Kelheim.

In 1986, the company was absorbed by Heidelberger Zement.
In 1998, four committed staff members prevented decommissioning
and founded Kelheimer Naturstein GmbH.

Limestone. Dolomite. Shell Limestone. 
Our quarries are harbours of real treasures which we process with latest technology.

By acquiring the quarries in Kelheim, Wachenzell and Kirchheim, the company, which has been converted into Kelheimer Naturstein GmbH & Co. KG, can offer its domestic and foreign customers a selected range of high-quality natural stones.

As a medium-sized producer of natural stone, Kelheimer Naturstein GmbH & Co. KG supplies its customers in Germany, Europe and overseas with its own materials Kelheimer Auerkalk (Limestone), Wachenzeller Dolomit (Dolomite) and Kirchheimer Muschelkalk (Shellstone).

Our natural stones create a perfectly comfortable ambient climate.
And an exclusive interior in all rooms.

In the fields of interior construction, facades, landscaping gardening as well as massive and sacred construction, the company offers both raw slabs, facing slabs and floor tiles as well as sawn cut pieces and custom-made pieces.
