The chipping mechanism consists of a metal rotor on which two PRO-blades are mounted that rotate against a counter blade with high speed. Branches are automatically pulled inside and processed into perfectly sized wood chips.

The 600 series includes the most compact machines, with petrol or electric engine, suitable for branches up to 5 cm. The 900 series wood chippers can handle branches up to 8 cm and are also available as a Compo model for soft materials.
