When functionality and aesthetics are in harmony, everything is right with the world. Public areas are becoming more and more important, so they need to be safe and clean for the people using them and they should be adorned with aesthetic objects. The Littershark triumphed over 80 competitors in an international call for tender by the city of Zürich in 2002. Since then, it has been a real success story.
The Littershark has strong design credentials and is vandal-proof. It has a huge capacity, so it needs emptying much less frequently, and it also features low maintenance, environmentally friendly high-grade chrome steel. So the Littershark saves money. The Littershark has won the Red Dot Award, an internationally renowned industrial design prize.
