While wood changes its shape and colour over time as a result of weather conditions, MAHORA PARKETTDIELEN remain durable and true to colour and shape, making them ideal for outdoor use. Made of cast concrete, delicate wood grains, knotholes and indentations can be reproduced true to the original, giving the floorboard a noble, authentic look. The new colour Umbra (Latin: umbra = shadow) demonstrates this effect particularly well. This warm, earthy brown tone gives a natural shimmer and shadow effect to the fine wood structure. Depending on the sunlight, you always get slightly different, appealing effects.

The 890 x 250 mm and 1000 x 200 mm format tiles, also available in ash and bog oak, open a wide variety of parquet combinations – from the classic row pattern and ship floor to a more retro style herringbone pattern. Thanks to the stone thickness of 45 mm, the parquet floorboards can be laid simply and safely using conventional installation techniques on a levelled bed of stone chippings. Complex and expensive substructures that commonly come with wooden flooring are now a thing of the past. There’s also no need to oil and paint, as you would a wooden surface.
