Retention Roofs
Retention roofs store large amounts of water and ensure that the water drain off with a time delay and at a reduced rate. During heavy rainfalls this ensures, that the public sewage system is relieved.
Our system RE 80 - The Sustainable Solution is the right choice for intensive green roofs with a large water storage to supply the vegetation. Combined with a dam-up element the RE 80 retention elements with their large water reservoirs of up to 74 l/m2 are suitable for sustainable precipitation retention. During heavy rainfalls they efficiently relief the sewerage system and offer a long-term water supply for the plants. The high compression strength of the RE 80 makes is also applicable on walkable or car accessible roofs.
Our system RE 120 - The Reliever is used under extensive green roofs and gravel roofs, where large retention volumes are required. In combination with a dam-up element, a large retention volume of up to 100 l/m2 is possible. This relieves the public sewerage system during heavy rainfall events significantly.
The right system for retention under traffic roofs is our RE 150 – The Strong Solution. During heavy rainfalls the RE 150 element with its large water storage volume of up to 138 l/m2, ensures efficiently water retention. It’s used under green roofs or used pavements, has a high load-bearing capacity, stores water and relieves the public sewerage system.
