Automatic bollards have the advantage that they can be quickly lowered into the ground without physical effort and returned into position just as quickly. In this way, access can easily be granted temporarily to individual cars, but passage can otherwise be effectively prevented. Automatic bollards come in different versions depending on the protection requirement and frequency of use.

Semi-automatic bollards are suitable for all application scenarios involving low usage frequencies (approx. 5 movements per day, 3000000 total movements), for example for reserving a parking space in a company car park.
