Design
Its robust design makes it the Portable Winch benchmark for quality and durability: ingenious products, offering durable power without compromise, anywhere. The capstan winch concept allows users to pull loads over an unlimited length of rope, without loss of power, in a simple, effective, and safe way.
In addition, the PCW5000 offers two speed options thanks to its interchangeable capstan drums. You can choose the one that will best suit your task. The 57-mm diameter drum, standard on the winch, delivers all the power with a pulling speed of 12 metres per minute. For more speed, the optional 85-mm drum (PCA-1100) will give you 50% more speed, or 18 metres per minute. A wide range of complementary accessories has been specifically designed to meet your needs.
Performance
The PCW5000 develops a remarkable pulling force of 1,000 kg without mechanical advantage. By adding a pulley system, you can go up to five times (5x) the pulling force. That means, with two double pulleys, you could pull up to 5,000 kg!
