The Uptec SUPAL support is adjustable in height from to 28 to 43 mm, with a base of 190 mm in diameter and a head of 130 mm. On the head it is possible to apply the accessories for standard installations (2mm spacers or 4mm spacers), the head for the wooden beam or adding the aluminium joist (on the head with 4mm spacers). Holes have been made on the base to allow the water to flow out, and on the lower side 4 pre-cut lines to easily cut the pedestals when you come to corners or perimeters.

We started off producing profiles for rugs and carpets: we were the first in Italy to do so.

In the ’80s, when Italian houses used easy-to-clean, yet fragile ceramic tile flooring, our profiles trimmed the tile edges, protecting them and making them more resistant. But this wasn’t enough: we gave function new aesthetic value. We studied new colors, shapes and finishes to meet market needs and set the bar high. We learned to extrude and shape plastic, aluminum, brass and stainless steel, offering the most modern and avant-garde finishes while striking a balance between efficiency, aesthetics and environmental responsibility.

We grew year after year, diversifying and proposing an increasingly larger range of profiles for wall and floor coverings, in residential and industrial settings, to which we integrated installation systems even more innovative and functional, all with the aim of making the installer’s job easier and more efficient.

This evolution grew stronger roots in 2007, with a complete company overhaul, aiming to take our great innovative capacity to installers all over the world. With this objective in mind, we began the process of widespread internationalization, exploring each market one by one to understand its specific needs and offer complete, personalized solutions.

In 2017 we opened Profilitec’s American subsidiary where, year after year, we are acquiring more clients and greater presence. Simultaneously, we also reorganized the company structure with a flexible organization, able to read the needs of the market and transform them into new products and installation systems.
