Product information

Cleft paling - also called rolling fences - is produced using a trellis-maker. It ties the acacia paling to each other in 3, 4 or 5 rows of wire. Each row of threads is made up of 4 galvanized threads 1.8mm thick, with high tensile strength (550N / mm²). The French-manufactured trellis-maker twists the wires between each stile so that they are completely tight and can no longer move. The quality of a trellis-maker is evaluated mainly by the force it exerts during the twisting of the wires between each stile.

The rolls of ganivelles are 5 or 10m long.

The acacia cleft paling is made of sawn and slightly pointed stakes. They have an average perimeter of 10cm. The spacings between the stakes are 1-2cm, 2-3cm, 3-4cm, 4-5cm, 5-6cm, 6-7cm, 7-8cm, 8-9cm or 9-10cm apart. On request, we can adjust the trellis to other spacings.

We produce paling of 7 different heights:

H 0.5m - 2 rows of wireH 0.8m - 3 rows of wireH 1m - 3 rows of wireH 1.2m - 3 rows of wireH 1.5m - 4 rows of threadH 1.8m - 5 rows of wireH 2m - 5 rows of wireIn terms of transport: The rolls of paling are placed on a pallet, 10 or 15 rolls per 1.2m high pallet.

On a truck, we load between 2 and 6km of paling, depending on the heights and the distances between the posts.

Cleft paling is used in gardens, parks, on the seaside to counter coastal erosion, or on facades of houses as cladding.
