The development of SALEE - Technology GmbH is based on the many years of experience of David & Hansjörg Oberhollenzer's and Christian Feistmantl. They were looking for a more environmentally friendly and efficient alternative to conventional salt spreading in winter service, as conventional methods cause massive environmental damage and represent an unnecessary waste of resources. Traditional salt spreaders, which are often used in an uncontrolled manner due to legal liability requirements, result in large quantities of road salt being spread even in non-winter temperatures.
