GaLaBau 2022: Preparations in full swing

It will finally take place again in Nuremberg from 14 to 17 September 2022. The level of enthusiasm is underscored by the excellent number of registrations so far. Planning preparations for the key topic of “Climate Change Challenge” and the programme are also in full swing. Potential and intending participants can keep up to date with the trade fair team and the latest plans via the GaLaBau social media channels on Facebook, Instagram and the most recent addition, LinkedIn.

“Inspiration, networking and experience at an in-person event will finally be possible once again,” says Stefan Dittrich, Director GaLaBau at NürnbergMesse, enthusiastically. “The level of registrations for GaLaBau 2022 makes us very optimistic, especially since the event calendar for the participating sectors is chock-full from spring through to late autumn. Just like us, our customers are very keen to catch up again in Nuremberg in September.”

A mix of new and established at GaLaBau 2022

As always, GaLaBau offers an overview of innovations and trends, and strives to be a driver of the topics that will motivate the sectors in the future. By selecting the working title of “Climate Change Challenge” for 2022, it is drawing attention to a key theme in which the green sector is playing an active part in many areas of the garden, landscaping and sports facility sector.

A new element in the supporting programme is “Motorist meets Industry”, a format from NürnbergMesse and the Rudolf Müller Media Group: In both the “Conversations with Motorists” item and the gala evening on Day 1 of the trade fair, the focus will be on networking and interaction for the relevant target groups: power equipment specialist dealers and dealers in agricultural machinery. The industry will have the opportunity to make an active contribution here.

Magnet: Equipment and arrangement of private gardens

A magnet for exhibitors is the new key product and service theme of “Equipment and arrangement of private gardens”, covering all products for garden and terrace setup, including furnishings, decoration, lighting, privacy shields and wind protection, pools and outdoor kitchens.

In addition to the many innovations, of course, the proven and popular formats from previous events will continue. A broad range of trade forums such as the GaLaBau Landscape Talks and the GaLaBau Expert Forum are dedicated to the transmission of knowledge. Once again, the presentation area at the Silbersee Lake will be an outdoor highlight, featuring live excavation, paving and mowing, with a wealth of construction and maintenance machinery to experience and try out. A new emphasis there will be on the theme of electromobility. The popular Landscape Gardener Cup, the nationwide professional competition, will take place in the Exhibition Centre Park, where the best trainee landscape gardeners from every German state will demonstrate their professional skills and the “German champion team” will be determined.
