GaLaBau remains on course for success in anniversary year 2024
2024 is a special year for GaLaBau: At the 25th round of the leading international fair for urban green and open spaces from 11 to 14 September, Nuremberg will once again become the key gathering place for the gardening and landscaping sector. GaLaBau attracts gardening and landscaping companies, representatives of municipalities, landscape architects and motorised equipment and power tool dealers from all over Europe.
In 14 exhibition halls, the exhibitors at GaLaBau will cover the full range of solutions for the design, construction and maintenance of urban, green and open spaces as well as sports grounds, golf courses and playgrounds. Exhibitors can now register for the 2024 anniversary edition of the event and preparations for the comprehensive supporting programme are in full swing.
“Together with our partner, honorary sponsor and founding father BGL (German Association for Gardening, Landscaping and Sports Ground Construction), we have gradually developed GaLaBau into a unique showcase of products and services for the entire supply chain and an information and communication platform for exploring the pressing issues of the future. The tremendous success and popularity of the last GaLaBau and high level of satisfaction among exhibitors and visitors are providing us with inspiration, motivation and joyful anticipation as we currently prepare for the 25th round,” says Stefan Dittrich, Director of GaLaBau at Nürnberg Messe. Lutze von Wurmb, President of the BGL, comments: “It’s a special anniversary that we are currently working towards. Already, the landscaping and gardening sector is making a huge contribution to the necessary climate change adaptation measures and sustainability. As a key marketplace for information sharing, GaLaBau pools expertise and takes our efforts even further forwards.”
New and longstanding features
In 2024, GaLaBau will once again deliver in full on its key promise to provide inspiration, networking and a hands-on experience. Especially for the target group of landscape architects, GaLaBau aims to offer new highlights. In 2022, innovative formats like the forum “Digitalisation@GaLaBau – Digital practice live in action” and the GREEN-BLUE PATH proved immensely popular and will therefore be continued and further improved in 2024. Also returning in 2024 will be established highlights like the lavishly and impressively designed BGL exhibition area under the banner “Future of green living spaces”, various forums, and activities on topics like playgrounds, recruiting young talent, and arboriculture. Special mention should also be made of the demonstration areas for earthworks, maintenance and electric mobility, a favourite destination for exhibitors and visitors alike.
