FRASEBA GmbH (Inc.) is a young company that was founded in July 2021 for producing mineral substrates and soils. In addition to that, FRASEBA addresses the receipt and treatment of soils, which means that the company’s overall concept can rightly be described as sustainable. CEO Anne Schneider explains what this entails.

“In Germany, soils from earthworks and construction sites are still brought to landfills and are stored there,” says Anne Schneider. “In many cases, the transport routes are very long. FRASEBA wants to counteract this and works towards a circular economy.”

The experienced team of the company based in Kleinostheim close to Frankfurt views soil as a valuable resource. On-site, the soil is treated and used as a secondary raw material for their own products. FRASEBA offers tree substrates, plant substrates and lawn substrates. They even sell roof substrates. “These are produced in our branch factory in Kastellaun in the Hunsrueck region,” Anne Schneider explains. The delivery takes place as bulk cargo, loose, in silos, in Big Bags or according to the customers’ individual wishes.

From the start, the factory in Kleinostheim has been designed for a considerable production volume, which means FRASEBA is a good fit for the GaLaBau in Nuremberg. “We want to present our portfolio to a broad professional audience,” Anne Schneider says about the fair. “And of course, we would like to attract new customers.”

Anne Schneider enjoys working for FRASEBA because the company can actively contribute to climate protection. She reports: “When developing innovative soil substrates, we especially focus on water and nutrient storage and on surface water usage. We want to present ourselves as strong and bold partners in the Rhine Main Area so that we can contribute to cooling cities in this region. We are currently conducting first pilot studies in the area around our headquarters.”

Anne Schneider manages the company together with Johannes Krapp. She benefits from her professional experience. “I started my career with a dual study in business information systems. I then worked in controlling for 8 years and in an engineering office for another 8 years.” After that, she worked in a gardening and landscaping company for a while and finally took on the managing position in the newly founded FRASEBA company. Anne Schneider is 43 years old, married, and has two children.

FRASEBA is one of the exhibitors at the joint stand Young Innovators. This area is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and can be found in Hall 3C. NürnbergMesse offers companies in the International StartUp Area special conditions for participating in GaLaBau, the leading International Trade Fair for Urban Green and Open Spaces (www.galabau-messe.com/en). The fair takes places from 11 – 14 September 2024.
