In 2024, GaLaBau once again featured the action areas for earthworks and surface maintenance, providing a hands-on atmosphere on the outdoor exhibition grounds that is so popular with exhibitors and visitors alike. Machines and equipment were experienced and tested live and in action.

The action areas were located north of Hall 12, in Volkspark Dutzendteich and were accessed from Halls 7, 7A, 8, 9, 10.0 and 11.0 by shuttle bus or in just a few minutes on foot.

Demonstration area and surface maintenance

E-Mobility Area

With Raoul Helmer as presenter, exhibitors showcased their newly developed construction and maintenance machines as well as municipal vehicles with electric engines giving visitors a live demonstration of the potential of e-mobility in gardening and landscaping.

At the heart of the demonstration areas, the topic of e-mobility, as part of the GREEN BLUE PATH, received the full attention of visitors. On all four days of GaLaBau, 6 exhibitors presented their product innovations in the field of e-mobility.
