Kullmann und Meinen: Management Consultancy for the GaLaBau sector

GaLaBau companies go through various phases in their life cycles. These include foundation, expansion and further development, but also reorganisation or succession planning if necessary. For all these phases, the management consultancy Kullmann und Meinen is the right contact when landscape gardeners need external support. In their work, the consultants can rely on extensive experience, for example on key figures from over 4,000 annual target plans for companies.

"I manage the southern office of our management consultancy in Freiburg," says Enrico Suchant. "That means I'm responsible for customers in the federal states of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. But the Rhine-Main region is also part of my catchment area." Kullmann und Meinen also has offices in Rösrath near Cologne and in Bad Bentheim to the west of Osnabrück on the Dutch border.
"In my work as a consultant, I cover the entire necessary spectrum of work," reports Enrico Suchant. "This includes controlling and standard costing, for example. But there are also two other areas in which I specialise. These are succession planning, including company value calculation, and reorganisation consulting." The 35-year-old advises clients throughout Germany.
Numbers are the tools of Enrico Suchant's trade. But that alone is not enough, he believes. "Of course I need to have a complete overview of all key figures. However, looking to the future is always about optimising organisational structures, streamlining processes and improving collaboration in work teams."

Enrico Suchant also benefits from his tangible practical experience in his day-to-day work. "After graduating from high school in Waldkirch, I studied landscaping and management. It was a dual study programme. In other words, I trained as a landscape gardener at Fautz die Gärten in Bad Krozingen and studied in Weihenstephan at the same time. After gaining professional experience in two construction companies and completing a master's degree in business administration while working, I joined Kullmann und Meinen in 2015. And since the beginning of 2022, I have been the third Managing Director alongside Jens Kullmann and Prof. Dr Heiko Meinen." As a second pillar, Enrico Suchant runs his own gardening and landscaping business in Waldkirch.

This is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) and is aimed at newcomers and start-ups from Germany.
