Flexible TELEFLEX Snow Plough Blades
In our Newcomer series, we introduce you to various exhibitors at our joint stand Young Innovators. Today we present: KüKo
KüKo-Technik is a company based in Sigmaringen in the southern part of Baden-Wuerttemberg. On their website, you can read the following: Up to 70% higher area output when snow ploughing. No changeover times. Less manoeuvring and less vehicles required. How is this possible? By using the patented TELEFLEX Snow Plough Blades.
Friedrich Kübler manages KüKo-Technik together with his business partner Thomas Kotzmann. He developed the snow plough blades and explains what makes them special: “The blade width can be almost doubled while driving – flexibly and continuously. This means that a TELEFLEX blade with a width of 1.25 metres (about 4 ft) can be continuously extended to a width of up to 2.05 metres (about 6.7 ft).” KüKo-Technik currently offers three adjustable snow ploughs of different widths.
“About 70% of our customers are service providers like gardening and landscaping companies or caretaker services,” says Friedrich Kübler. “The other 30% are cities and communities that buy parts of their snow ploughing equipment from us.” The producer of the TELEFLEX plough blades is in close dialogue with their users. “We value the feedback we get from professionals in the field. We use their ideas and suggestions to further improve our product.” For example, Küko-Technik recently optimised their swivel angle for the snow plough blades and added a combined steel-rubber-corundum scraper bar to their portfolio.
Oftentimes, the 53-year-old Friedrich Kübler even spends his weekends at the company: “I simply enjoy my work immensely.” He has lots of practical experience and has been the owner of his own caretaker service since 2007. And even before that, he was self-employed and worked in the fields of infrared technology, biogas plant construction and special machine construction. Küko-Technik was founded in 2018 and in 2020, the TELEFLEX Snow Plough Blades were brought onto the market.
Friedrich Kübler likes to refer to his company’s website: “On our website, you can find 6 videos that show the benefits of our snow plough blades and how they can be used in winter.” He adds: “And of course, I am more than happy to meet potential customers for a live demonstration. The GaLaBau trade fair will be the perfect occasion for that.”
KüKo is one of the exhibitors at the joint stand Young Innovators. This area is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and can be found in Hall 3C. NürnbergMesse offers companies in the International StartUp Area special conditions for participating in GaLaBau, the leading International Trade Fair for Urban Green and Open Spaces (www.galabau-messe.com/en). The fair takes places from 11 – 14 September 2024.
