We keep hearing that small businesses feel overwhelmed by the complex technology involved in digitalisation or that the financial hurdles are too high. In reality, nobody is asking them to understand the technology behind digital applications.It's more about understanding their own work processes, simplifying them where possible and then mapping them in the solutions that are offered to the industry.What is needed here is not in-depth IT knowledge, but cooperation with digitalisation experts, software providers and - where necessary - financial service providers and funding programmes.
