Coalymer Stool – Carbon-Storing Design Furniture

The Coalymer Stool is a lightweight and robust design product for gardens, terraces, parks and public spaces. It combines distinctive design with innovative material technology and a negative carbon footprint: the product permanently stores more CO₂ than is released during its production.

This is made possible by the Coalymer System – an innovative combination of cement-free geopolymer concrete, carbon-storing biochar, generative design and digital manufacturing. The biochar permanently locks biogenic carbon into the material, while eliminating conventional cement significantly reduces production-related emissions.
