Sonnenerde Schwarzerde is a high-quality, ready-to-use organic black soil for outdoor gardens and raised beds. This soil is rich in activated organic biochar, stores water exceptionally well, and temporarily retains nutrients from mulch before gradually releasing them to the plants or converting them into humus. For optimal results, use Bio Faser as mulch. With a recommended layer thickness of 20–30 cm for root vegetables, it supports high yields without the use of fertilizers or pesticides. Inspired by Terra Preta, Schwarzerde combines organic compost, biochar, clay minerals, and trace elements to create a biologically active soil rich in nitrogen-fixing bacteria and fungi.
