The Verduna grass seed mat combines grass seed, lawn fertiliser and water-retention granulate on biodegradable cellulose – pre-dosed for time-saving installation and a consistent establishment result.
For new lawn areas, landscape contractors have primarily two options – and both have a weakness. Loose seed is inexpensive, but it lies exposed for weeks: birds eat the seed, wind blows it away, rain washes it out, and the distribution varies with the dosing. If germination is uneven, remedial work follows – unplanned, and in the worst case as a warranty claim. Turf delivers a reliable finish, but it is perishable goods: heavy pallet logistics, a narrow installation window and a level of effort that is not always justified.
