GaLaBau 2026 will take place in Nuremberg from 15 to 18 September, featuring around 1,100 exhibitors, a comprehensive supporting programme and innovative new formats. At the international leading trade fair for urban green spaces and open spaces, visitors can look forward above all to a unique combination of networking, hands-on experiences and fresh inspiration. The ticket shop for visitors and media representatives is now open.

GaLaBau brings together three key dimensions: networking, hands-on experiences and inspiration. Networking helps visitors navigate the diversity of the industry. Hands-on experiences make innovations tangible. Inspiration provides the knowledge needed for well-informed decisions. With around 1,100 exhibitors across 14 halls, GaLaBau showcases the full spectrum of products and services for the sector: from construction materials and plants to construction and maintenance machinery, as well as the design of urban spaces, playgrounds and sports facilities. Formats such as startups@GaLaBau help visitors discover innovative young companies, while themed Guided Tours as part of the GREEN-BLUE PATH enable targeted supplier searches based on specific topics. This transforms diversity into genuine orientation through personal interaction and direct product comparison. In addition, Women@GaLaBau connects women working in the green industry.

Experience Innovation, Discover Trends, Gain Orientation

Innovations come to life at the trade fair: live demonstration areas showcase machinery in action, the Landscape Gardener Cup highlights outstanding craftsmanship, and the GaLaBau CAMP combines specialist content with intensive networking opportunities. The GREEN-BLUE PATH brings future-oriented topics such as e-mobility and climate adaptation to life, while the new ZUKUNFTSRAUM offers visitors the opportunity to experience and test digital innovations firsthand.

Specialized expert formats provide concise insights into current topics and support informed decision-making: the Landscape Talks, the Expert Forum, and the new Forum by asecos academy present innovative and sustainable solutions while offering direct access to industry experts. Awards such as the GaLaBau Innovation Medal, the BGL Education Award, the ELCA Trend Award, and the Motorist of the Year Award highlight proven best practices and help visitors identify successful approaches for their own businesses.

women@GaLaBau – Networking Event for Women

A new format celebrates its premiere: women@GaLaBau launches on 16 September with an inspiring kick-off event at GaLaBau. The initiative aims to increase the visibility, networking, and empowerment of women in the green industry. During a get-together, inspiring women from the gardening and landscaping sector will share insights into their career paths, their daily work as female leaders on construction sites, and how they successfully balance family life and business responsibilities. The topics of career development, leadership, and health will then be explored in greater depth through discussion rounds. Additional formats beyond the trade fair are already being planned.

Forum by asecos academy – Expert Presentations in Focus

The new Forum by asecos academy, located in Hall 11, Stand 300, will serve as a central hub for knowledge transfer. Leading industry experts will provide practical insights into current topics through compact presentations, ranging from hazardous materials management and lithium-ion batteries to leak management and water protection. The free lecture programme offers direct exchange with specialists and industry colleagues, making a significant contribution to professional development and networking.

ZUKUNFTSRAUM – Experience Digitalisation Live

The ZUKUNFTSRAUM will celebrate its premiere at GaLaBau 2026 in Hall 3C, Stand 405. This interactive format provides practical inspiration on digitalisation, AI-supported planning tools, paperless processes, and modern strategies for recruiting skilled professionals. Visitors will gain concrete solutions for future-proof landscaping businesses and can experience and test innovative technologies directly on site.

Motorist of the Year – Premiere at GaLaBau

The renowned trade magazine Motorist will present its entrepreneurial award at GaLaBau in Nuremberg for the first time. Since 2015, the award has honoured companies in the gardening, forestry, and municipal technology sectors that distinguish themselves through excellent service, entrepreneurial excellence, and commitment to the industry.
