Around 1,100 exhibitors, innovative start-ups and themed guided tours: From 15 to 18 September in Nuremberg, GaLaBau 2026 offers trade visitors numerous opportunities to make new contacts, meet business partners and find suitable solutions for current challenges in garden and landscape construction. At its core is the networking of people, ideas and innovations.

The International Leading Trade Fair for Urban Green and Open Spaces brings together the entire value chain of the green sector in one place. With around 1,100 exhibitors across 14 halls, it creates a unique platform for personal discussions, product comparisons and direct exchange with experts, manufacturers and service providers. In doing so, GaLaBau provides guidance in an industry that is continuously evolving through climate adaptation, digitalisation and new requirements.

Strong brands driving the industry forward

“The leading players in the industry come together at GaLaBau, creating a platform for personal exchange. Direct dialogue between manufacturers, planners, contractors and clients is indispensable,” says Isabel Grundner, Director GaLaBau.

Among the exhibitors are numerous renowned companies from a wide range of market segments. In the field of construction machinery and equipment, transport, construction sites and depot yards, companies including Wacker Neuson, Zeppelin Baumaschinen, TAKEUCHI, Komatsu Germany and JCB Deutschland will present their products. In the area of maintenance machinery and equipment, exhibitors include STIHL, Husqvarna, John Deere, Kubota and Toro. GaLaBau also showcases the breadth and innovative strength of the industry in the segments of plants, represented by companies such as Lorberg Quality Plants, Bruns Pflanzen Export and Baumschule Lorenz von Ehren, as well as materials and components, with exhibitors such as ACO, KANN Baustoffwerke, Godelmann, Richard Brink and Paul Bauder.

The offering is complemented by companies from the fields of urban design, playgrounds, leisure facilities and sports grounds as well as private garden equipment and furnishings. For example, ZIEGLER Metallbearbeitung, BEGA, KOMPAN, Berliner Seilfabrik, Brügmann TraumGarten and RivieraPool will present their products and concepts for liveable, attractive and future-oriented open spaces. Additional exhibitors from the areas of recycling, disposal and environmental protection, specialist fields and organisations complete the offering, making GaLaBau the central industry meeting place for the entire garden and landscape construction value chain.

BGL exhibition stand as the industry’s central meeting point

An important hub for networking, knowledge transfer and dialogue is the exhibition stand of the German Association of Gardening, Landscaping and Sports Ground Construction (BGL) in Hall 3A, Stand 111. Through its presence at GaLaBau 2026, the BGL creates a place for encounters, inspiration and shared discussion about the future of urban living spaces.

Under the motto “Future Green Living Spaces”, visitors can look forward to a diverse programme of expert discussions, current industry topics and practical insights. In addition, the GaLaBau Expert Forum at the BGL stand offers exciting presentations and panel discussions on the key challenges and opportunities facing the garden and landscape construction sector. The exhibition stand therefore embodies the networking spirit of GaLaBau in a special way, bringing together practice, planning, politics and association work while fostering personal exchange across the entire industry.

startups@GaLaBau brings fresh ideas to the exhibition

Innovation often emerges where new perspectives meet established challenges. With startups@GaLaBau, the trade fair provides a stage for young companies and their product innovations. The joint stand enables start-ups to introduce themselves to a professional audience, present their solutions and build valuable connections with potential customers, investors and industry partners. The focus is particularly on young companies that have so far been represented at only a few trade fairs and can gain high visibility through their presence at GaLaBau.

For trade visitors, startups@GaLaBau offers the opportunity to discover new technologies, digital applications and innovative business models at an early stage. In this way, a visit to the trade fair is enriched with valuable insights into the future of the industry.

The GREEN-BLUE PATH connects visitors with future-focused topics

How can cities become more climate resilient? Which solutions contribute to resource conservation and sustainable development? The GREEN-BLUE PATH provides answers to these questions. This curated tour draws attention to companies, products and services that contribute to climate adaptation, sustainability and future-oriented open spaces.

The format becomes especially practical through the Guided Tours, which take interested visitors directly to selected exhibitors and innovations. Participants benefit from expert explanations, concise information and the opportunity to engage directly with specialists. This creates valuable contacts and concrete ideas that can be applied in day-to-day practice. Participation in the Guided Tours is free of charge. Interested visitors can register in advance (only in German). Registration is open until 10 September.
